Texas School for the Deaf

The Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) provides educational programs and services for deaf and hard of hearing students from birth through high school. TSD offers a range of academic, extracurricular, and residential programs designed to support students’ communication, social, and academic development. The school emphasizes bilingual education in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, helping students achieve language fluency and academic success. TSD also provides resources for families, including guidance on early intervention, advocacy, and connecting with community services. Its mission is to empower deaf and hard-of-hearing students to thrive in school, work, and life.
