Texas Health and Human Services Autism Program

The Children’s Autism Program (CAP) provides early intervention and support services for children with autism in Texas. CAP offers assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to help children develop social, communication, and behavioral skills. The program is designed for children from birth to 6 years old and emphasizes family involvement, providing guidance and training to parents and caregivers. CAP works with local service providers to deliver individualized supports that meet each child’s unique needs. Early participation in CAP can improve developmental outcomes and prepare children for success in school and community settings.
