Overview of Transitional Living Services

Transitional Living Services (TLS) offered by DFPS are designed to support youth and young adults in foster care as they prepare for adulthood. These services provide essential resources and guidance in areas such as education, employment, housing, financial literacy, and life skills development. The goal is to ensure that young people have the tools and support they need to successfully transition from foster care to independent living. Through personalized planning and access to community-based programs, TLS helps youth make informed decisions, pursue their goals, and build stable, self-sufficient futures.
