Learn what happens during an admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committee meeting. The ARD committee includes parents and school staff who work together to make decisions about a student’s special education and related services. The ARD committee reviews the student’s needs, sets goals, and creates or updates the individualized education program (IEP).
